Bio

Haden Bryce Wade is a visual artist, type designer, full-stack developer, and occasional writer currently splitting their time between Brooklyn, Berlin, and Blacksburg.

A part of the internet generation, they have an interest in making the web a more visually interesting place.

In the past decade they’ve noticed a particularly boring trend (perhaps championed by UX researchers) that has seen the web transform from a collection of visually diverse and interesting websites, to a collection of cookie cutter sites all using the same technologies to either sell the same products, or mine user data. To combat this (at least visually) and to hopefully help create a future internet that doesn’t look and feel like the same theme over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over again, they’ve begun work on a series of typefaces (all designed as Variable Fonts) that you can see and purchase here.

An avid devourer of media, you can read quotes from some of their favorite media (and journals, and conversations) here.

If you have an idea for a project (or would just like to chat!), you’re more than welcome to send them a quick email.
